Maintenance Fitness Sessions

NOW AVAILABLE FOR PAST PATIENTS

Are you still practicing what you have learned from the BST program?  Do you need a refresher to make sure that you are still on track?  We have learned several new things to help you improve the quality of your life!  We would love to see you again! We NOW have fitness sessions for any past patient who wants to return for sessions.  The session will include 1 hour of class without physical therapy or alignment exercises. No progress notes will be kept.  Call the office to reserve a spot prior to attending sessions.

$25.00 per class or purchase 8 sessions for $175.00

Mondays and Wednesdays from 7:00 - 8:00 AM and 5:30-6:30 PM,

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Fitness session participants are former insurance patients who no longer have insurance benefits or self pay patients.  Their primary goal is to continue to build upon what they have already learned with the body mechanics program.

    1. To continue to improve their overall stability, strength, endurance
    2. To increase body control and awareness
    3. To create new habits in implementing concepts learned in all aspects of their lives
    4. To improve their self correction skills
    5. To improve athletic performance
    6. To gain skills on which piece of the puzzle they need to fix themselves
    7. To improve their overall quality of life

Technique and position are reinforced to optimize power for specific sports or recreational activities to decrease chance of injury and improve performance. Information is tailored to meet the needs of each target population. Equipment used:

Your own bodies resistance
Swiss balls
Bands
Light free Weights

Once patients have gained the knowledge from the body mechanics program, instruction is given on how to apply this to their gym workout. Recommendations are made for a sample program.  Technique and proper body position are covered on both free and fixed machines.  Methods for cardiovascular exercise on gym machines are also covered.  Patients are educated in what to avoid, how to adapt their body to the equipment, and how to modify their program based on their dysfunction.
