She sleeps in a
CAT Tent System
simulating 9000’ and uses intermittent hypoxic
treatments during her training sessions together to
improve her performance and overall well being.
Proper nutrition, massage therapy, Osteopathic
manipulation, and fitness have
all been important
factors to her recover from multiple traumas to her
body.
In 2003, Terry crashed on her head mountain biking
which resulted in a three-level neck fusion from Dr.
William White, of Barrows Neurological Inst. Because
she had learned to manage her neck that had bone
spurs and stenosis resulting from the car accident
in 87, she was able to bounce back from her fusion
after 2 weeks off work to teach 10-11 hours a day.
The mechanical cause had been fixed through the
things she learned developing her program to assist
her low back.
Dr. Deborah Heath, Osteopathic Physician, has worked
on Terry after every crash and surgery to keep her
tissues in an optimum point of healing. Combined
with weekly massages and her BST program, she is
able to manage her afflictions and return to a high
level active lifestyle.
